Opportunity Funds
Make an enduring impact on the Jindal School through an Opportunity Fund. These unrestricted endowments support undergraduate and graduate programs at the Jindal School.
Scholarships and Fellowships
Provide direct financial support for Jindal School students through a scholarship (undergraduate) or fellowship (graduate). The Jindal School provides need- and merit-based awards. Donors may establish a scholarship/fellowship with specific criteria for recipients, such as academic merit, financial need, major or course of study, community service and campus involvement.
Professorship or Chair
Professorships and chairs create opportunities for the Jindal School to attract and retain outstanding faculty members who will enhance students’ academic experiences and the institution’s reputation.
Plan a Gift or Bequest
You may leave a lasting legacy through planned giving. These gifts might include a bequest and/or charitable income gifts, and ensure that Jindal School students will benefit from your generosity for generations to come.
Tribute Gifts
Recognize special people in your life with a tribute gift. It is a meaningful way to honor or remember a loved one, favorite professor or fellow classmate while at the same time making a difference in the lives of current and future students.
Stock or Appreciated Assets
Take advantage of appreciated securities without incurring capital gains tax. You also will receive an immediate income tax deduction for the fair market value of the securities on the date of transfer.
Gift-in-Kind
Often, gifts-in-kind provide much needed resources for University or Jindal School operations. These gifts must be approved by the Jindal School dean’s office and the vice president for development and alumni relations.

This Naveen Jindal School of Management grad took the opportunity of getting laid off to pursue a dream of starting what is now known as FireWheel Brewery in Rowlett.
Abu Sadeq, BS’94, MS’99
CEO and CISO, Zartech Inc.
Sadeq earned two degrees at what is now known as Naveen Jindal School of Management. He received a BS/Business Administration and an MS/Management Information Systems. He eventually started Zartech, a Dallas-based consulting company, which helps clients with cybersecurity diagnostics and strategies and even provides experts for boards of directors facing cybersecurity questions or managing regulatory affairs.
Andrew Joseph Limas, BS’19
Assistant Language Teacher, RCS Japan
After graduating from Jindal School with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Limas signed up with RCS Corporation Japan, a staffing company based in Tokyo that finds English teachers for local schools. The company placed him in a job in Tokyo, where Limas now works as an assistant language teacher. In his role, he shares language skills with his students along with information about American culture and traditions. He credits opportunities to work on start-up business ideas at the Jindal School with expanding his understanding about how businesses work.
Corey Egan, MBA’10

Egan knows what it takes to transform a vision into a successful business. After working for several years in marketing and operations management, Egan along with Swapnil Bora, MBA’11, co-founded iLumi Solutions Inc., and designed an intelligent multicolor LED light bulb that is wirelessly controlled, programmable and customizable with a mobile application. In 2010, they won the UT Dallas Business Idea Competition that the Jindal School-based Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship sponsors every year, and they are committed to transforming and improving how we use lighting.

Even though I had worked in the finance domain in different capacities, I didn’t have experience of academic finance and when looking for options for my graduate level education my priority was to complement both my previous education and work experience. The MS Finance program at JSOM not only fulfilled all the criteria but also boasted of world class faculty and a very enhanced learning program and facilities.

Taylor completed his Global Leadership MBA (GLEMBA) degree, which, he says, “opened up (my) ability to be multi-disciplinary and global yet local.” IntelliCentrics, based in Flower Mound, focuses on safety and security in healthcare operations. As COO, Taylor oversees global operations, innovation, technology and people operations.

Tellez underwrites potential commercial real estate development projects across the country that his company may consider for investment. Tellez earned an MS/Finance at Jindal School. “The master’s degree I earned at UT Dallas 100 percent catapulted my career,” said Tellez, who completed his undergrad degree in economics at Texas Tech. “I was extremely hungry but I was struggling to get the attention of ‘big time’ finance players in Dallas due to lack of experience,” he says.

Wallace, who earned her MBA and master’s degree in Healthcare Management at Jindal School, assists with all aspects of operations at Parkland’s Southeast Dallas Health Center, including administrative, business and clinical, in addition to the design of work processes, prioritization of initiatives and clinic performance improvement projects. She’s been at Parkland for almost four years.

Senior Property Manager, Crescent Property Services, LLC
In his current position, Jones manages a Class A commercial real estate portfolio for Crescent, which acquires, develops and operates high-end properties alongside an exclusive group of investors and high-net-worth clients. Crescent currently has $3.5 billion in assets in its portfolio. Jones said his education at Jindal School has opened a lot of doors for him. “I don’t think I’m smarter than I was, but it helped me in my ability to creatively problem solve, navigate multiple fields of expertise and remain confident in a rapidly evolving business environment,” he said. He earned three degrees at the Jindal School – a BS in Business Administration, an MS in Supply Chain Management and an MBA.

Yett earned both his undergraduate and master’s degree in accounting from Jindal School, where he was part of the selective Professional Program in Accounting. The PPA offers top accounting students smaller classes along with training in soft skills and access to choice internships. Upon graduation, Yett joined Grant Thornton where his current responsibilities include managing multiple audit engagement teams and client relationships. His role includes ensuring high quality audit execution and distinctive client service.

McIntosh, a senior manager in Advisory Services at Ernst and Young’s Dallas office, measures his success by the quality relationships he has developed with clients and coworkers throughout his 15 years in the management consulting and financial services industries. He assists leading banks and lenders in solving various management problems and improving their operations in order to better serve customers and meet the demands of other key stakeholders.
Chris Spartz, MBA’11
Senior Associate – Risk Consulting, Contract Compliance KPMG
At KPMG, Spartz serves in multiple roles including reviewing contracts between his clients and their third party service providers to identify risks within the agreement and help his clients to ensure compliance with contracts, standards, policies and regulatory requirements. “I also collect, manipulate, analyze and interpret large data sets, and use results to develop recommendations for corrective and preventative actions for identified risks,” Spartz says.
